Monster Hunter 4

Monster hunter 4 is supposed to be released sometime this year. It is mainly japanese but will be translated later on.

IT IS SO DIFFERENT

There are a ton of new monsters, areas, and a brand new town (as normal)
They expanded the ability to climb, making the player able to climb side-to-side as well as up-and-down. That changes the whole game. In the japanese trailer, it shows Congalalalalas climbing on walls to chase the player

Also, they added the element of climbing on..... the monsters!?

Opinions on these changes?

I think they're cool, they're going in a coolio direction for the game.


PS: Switch axe. It's different from in tri, it goes from Sword/shield to Axe/greatsword/gun Dafuq? It sounds fun though. Heavy.

Im getting this game for my birthday, whether its a preorder or if it comes out by then, Im getting it and a 3DS. Im SOO excited for this game.

Get MH4, and also get scribblenauts so we can play that together

2 new weapons have been told about: Insect Staff, and Charge Axe.

Im quite excited about both of these. let me give a rundown of each.

Insect Staff
Its pretty much a sword that you can pole vault with. The other cool feature about it is that it can summon a bug that attacks for you and when called back it gives a buff to stats.

Charge Axe
As you hit with it, you gain "Charge" This is indicated on the hilt of the axe. With this you can do a VERY powerful charging swing. The color key is like this (Yellow = normal damage; Red = Stronger Attack) This seems like an awesome weapon.
